This is to avoid heating element running on the dry condition which causes damage to it.
Fill the water heater by opining cold water supply tap, and open hot water user tap (Picture 9)in User Manual; when the water comes out from the hot water user tap without bubbles that means the water heater is full by water, then close hot water user tap and ensure there is no leak of water from any connection places.
Turn on the water heater power supply. The pilot lamp should immediately light up which indicates that the heating process has started. The light will be off when the temperature inside the water heater will reach the setup point of the thermostat.
Before switching ON the water heater make sure that the water heater has been filled with water, by checking the water supply from the hot water tap.

This is non-return Italian valve comes with 3 functions.
• Allowing the water to enter the tank with a certain pressure.
• Maintaining the pressure in the tank not to increase.
• Releasing water if the pressure increases inside the tank due to any reason.
If you used a different type of safety valve it will cause the water pressure to rise in the water heater, and the top safety valve will operate.
This intervenes in case of abnormal heating..
• It is strictly recommended to fix a water tap between the inlet pipe and the pressure-relieve valve is to be operated regularly to remove lime deposits and verify that it is not blocked.
• It is strictly recommended to periodically clean and replace if it is necessary the heating element, magnesium anode, and safety valve every one or two years based on their condition.
